Solari Dragon

What differs

Solari are the eastern form: long and serpentine through the body, generally wingless, and perfectly capable of flight without wings.

The build is the divergence. Where a Lunari is arranged around four legs and a heavy wing structure, a Solari is arranged around length and sinuosity, and moves accordingly.

The folklore behind the form ties eastern dragons to water, to rainfall and rivers, and to imperial authority. What we take from it is the shape rather than the mythology attached to it — a Solari is not obliged to be benevolent, or a bringer of rain, or anything else the tradition assigned them.

Magic

The element is a fundamental affinity following bloodline rather than body plan — a Solari may carry any of them — and it is channelled through the breath primarily and through the tail for more complex work, exactly as it is for any dragon.

Nothing about temperament follows from the breed. Whatever else a Solari is tied to is their own.
