A majestic hybrid creature stands poised for action, its form a seamless fusion of wolf, lion, and dragon. What differs

The sacred are the white tigers, and they are a breed in their own right rather than a colour morph.

This is a real departure from the animal. In the wild, white tigers are Bengal tigers carrying a recessive pigmentation gene, essentially all descended from a single captive animal, with the inbreeding problems that implies. None of that applies here. The sacred are their own lineage.

Where other tigers have nothing fixed magically, the sacred carry a deep magical connection — typically to more than one of the spiritual affinities at once, meaning soul, spirit and vital in some combination.

They also carry a strong immunity to many kinds of magic, which is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: a great deal of what would work on anyone else simply does not work on them.

Magic

The spiritual connection and the resistance both come with the breed. What a sacred tiger does with either is entirely their own, and being sacred says nothing whatsoever about temperament.
